Billy Castle Hopes to Appear in Playoff

The professional snooker player, Billy Castle, also known as the “Green-Fingered Castle”, is hoping to regain his tour card at the Q Tour playoffs in Darlington on March 4-5. Billy Castle, who has been playing local events, pro-ams, and his English Amateur Championship campaign, while also working part-time as a gardener, finished fourth in the Q Tour rankings after winning one of the six Q Tour events and reaching the semi-finals in Leeds. He faces Andrew Higginson in the last 16 of the playoffs. The 30-year-old believes he deserves a spot on the main tour but admits that there are many good amateurs out there. Slessor has taken inspiration from Robert Milkins’ recent success, which he believes proves anyone can do it if they put in the hard work. Slessor remains positive and is ready to go for whatever route is available to get back on tour.
