Draw and Schedule of Top 16 Seeds Announced

The Cazoo World Championship, snooker’s biggest tournament, is set to kick off on April 15th at the Crucible in Sheffield, with defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan taking on an opponent in the opening match at 10 am on the same day. The top 16 seeds will join the 16 qualifiers, who will be determined after the qualifying rounds on April 11th and 12th at the English Institute of Sport.

The tournament’s draw and match schedule for the top 16 players is now available, with Mark Allen, the player of the season so far, scheduled to play on Monday, April 17th, while Judd Trump’s opening tie will be on the afternoons of Tuesday, April 18th, and Wednesday, April 19th. Four-time Crucible champion Mark Selby’s first match is set for 2.30 pm on Wednesday, April 19th, and he will conclude it the following afternoon. Meanwhile, Shaun Murphy, who is in form, will begin his campaign on Wednesday, April 19th, at 7 pm, and play to a finish the following evening.

The qualifying rounds have already started, and the top 16 seeds will be joined by the 16 qualifiers at the Crucible. The draw for the last 32 will be broadcast on BBC Radio Five Live on Thursday, April 13th, at 8.45 am.

Standard tickets for the Cazoo World Championship are already sold out, but fans can still enjoy the tournament by purchasing a package for the Century Club, which is situated in the heart of the Crucible. The Century Club will provide guests with canapés and champagne on arrival, three delicious courses with wine pairings, interval drinks, a cheeseboard, and an appearance from a snooker legend. They will also have the chance to take a photo with the World Championship trophy, as well as a complimentary program and fan radio.

Century Club ticketholders will be seated in either Row A or Row B, the closest to the action. The club has already sold out from the quarter-finals onwards, but a limited number of packages are still available for the first and second rounds. This will be the first time that the Century Club is available for the World Championship after proving to be incredibly popular at the Masters at Alexandra Palace.
